An Architect

"I BELIEVE
that the way
people live
can be directed
a little by
Architecture."
- Tadao Ando -

Buildings are designed by architects. Architects will always be in high demand because people need places to live and work. To become an architect, a person must first pass the G. C. E. Advanced Level or an alternative fundamental course and then enroll in a public or private university. The courses will be full-time or, in some situations, part-time, and it is an extremely interesting sector. They will learn about how people live and work, building materials, building costs, lighting, ventilation, acoustics, and many other concepts.

They will learn to design exciting spaces, shapes, and colors, as well as draw and model. After three or four years of study, they must sit for the Bachelor of Science degree examination (Built Environment). When they pass the exams, they will be placed in a government establishment or a private architectural firm for one year of practical experience. During this time, they will receive a substantial allowance. Additionally, they will be required to complete fieldwork during this time, which includes visiting construction sites, supervising ongoing work, and getting to know people from different trades.

To become a fully qualified architect, they must return to university for two years and earn a Master of Science in Architecture. Finally, after another year of practical experience under the supervision of a qualified architect, they are receiving their professional qualification. Then they will be fully qualified architects.
